Here at Respekt Danmark, we recognise our responsibility as a business in a world where both sustainability and transparency are absolutely crucial prerequisites to good, corporate social responsibility. We have thus chosen to put the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals at the heart of our sustainability efforts. Our products are used by a wide range of people for different purposes and in different contexts – and using very different methods of storage and handling. This means that both our production methods and the individual materials included must be thoroughly tested and documented before they are sent to market. In this way, we are able to secure the health not just of our employees and clients, but of end consumers as well. We also supply Nordic Eco Label cleaning products in combination with labelling from Asthma-Allergy Denmark.
Ours is a workplace where great focus is placed on safeguarding a secure and healthy physical, psychological and social work environment. Both at our factory in Denmark and through our collaborations with experts and professionals, we support, guide and facilitate a good work environment where employee skills are recognised and developed. Our constant focus on positive development and quality, combined with our innovative green mindset, means that placing focus on ISO 14001 and 9001 certifications comes natural to us. We have opted to work with the expanded environmental certification and all of our production processes are structured on this basis.
Respekt Danmark was the first player on the market to offer soaps and professional cleaning products in bottles and canisters made from PCR materials (Post Consumer Recycled). This is plastic which is composed of at least 95% recycled plastic. Besides the obvious advantage of eliminating some of the plastic that our planet is already struggling to do away with, the processing and production of PCR materials also uses less energy and fossil fuels compared with other plastic production. This means less pollution, fewer waste products and an overall better use of the resources we have.
